Brian Gallagher is currently completing his Masters in Music Education from Kent State University and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and his Single Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Fullerton. He is in his fourth year as Instrumental Music Director at Ramona High School in Riverside, California and his ninth year of teaching in California.
As an educator Brian has worked with numerous ensembles as a teacher and visual designer including Norco High School, the 2006 DCI Division 3 World Champions Impulse Drum and Bugle Corps and the 2012 WGI Percussion Scholastic World Champions Chino Hills High School. His ensembles have consistently performed well at the local, state and even national levels.
As a euphonium and trombone performer Brian was a charter member of Impulse Drum and Bugle Corps in 1999 and 2000. He has performed withsuch ensembles as the CSU Fullerton Wind Ensemble, the Orange County Wind Symphony, the Mt. Sac Renegade Jazz Ensemble and the Rio Hondo College Diverse Instruments Ensemble.
Currently Brian is an active adjudicator for the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association (SCSBOA) and Southern California Judges Association (SCJA) and a Contest Director for the Winter Guard Association of Southern California (WGASC) and Marching Band Open Series (MBOS).
He resides in Eastvale, CA with his wife of 13 years Rebecca and their two daughters.
